This role is for a Bid & Tenders Manager who serves as the strategic lead for the organization’s end-to-end bidding lifecycle. You will be responsible for navigating complex government and private portals (such as GeM and CPPP) to identify opportunities and conduct rigorous feasibility and BOQ analyses. Beyond mere submission, you will act as a cross-functional orchestrator—aligning technical, finance, and procurement teams to engineer optimized pricing strategies and high-impact proposals. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who ensures 100% compliance while maintaining the agility needed to meet strict submission deadlines and liaise effectively with external vendors and regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor tender portals (e.g., GEM, CPPP), analyze RFQs/RFPs/BOQs.
- Conduct feasibility studies and prepare go/no-go assessments.
- Coordinate bid planning with technical, finance, and procurement teams.
- Lead preparation of technical and commercial proposals.
- Ensure timely submission of complete and compliant bids.
- Optimize costing and pricing strategies.
- Liaise with internal teams, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Degree in Marine, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
- 3–7 years of experience in tendering or bid management.
- Familiar with GEM, CPPP, and eProcurement systems.
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Knowledge of maritime regulations and government procurement.
- Document management and proposal automation tools
- Experience in Marine & Engineering industry will be preferred.
