This role is for a Senior Embedded Software Validation Engineer with over 6 years of expertise in ensuring the reliability of mission-critical systems. You will leverage your deep knowledge of 16/32-bit Microcontroller Architectures and real-time systems to validate software written in C and Assembly. A key part of this position involves navigating rigorous safety standards like ISO 26262 or AUTOSAR using industry-standard tool-chains (GNU, Tasking) and high-end debuggers like Lauterbach. You are a hands-on technical expert, equally comfortable performing complex hardware-in-the-loop testing with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers as you are collaborating across multi-site global teams.
Requirements
- 6+ experience in embedded system software Validation in C, assembly languages & SDLC
- Good knowledge of Microcontroller Architecture (16/32bit), real-time systems
- Experience in standards such as AUTOSAR, IEC61508, ISO26262 is desirable
- Acquaintance with development/Testing tool-chains such as GNU, Tasking, WINDRIVER
- Good working knowledge of debuggers such as PLS, Lauterbach etc.
- Proven ability to work with standard lab equipments - oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power benches etc.
- Good team player in a multi-site work environment
